Hygge Watches of Japan has this week launched a new chronograph series, adding more Scandinavian style to the Hygge watch range. Designed by Mats Lonngren, the Horizon SERIES takes its shape from the classic SLR camera, which served as a subtle reference to the Design team for the physical geometry and graphical elements of the new watch.
The designer's Scandinavian touch transforms this curved geometry into the case details and then uses minimalism for the dial's typography. The result is a timepiece that is both pleasing to the eye and comfortable to wear.
In 2018, Hygge celebrated10 years as a brand in the watch industry. So, to commemorate this milestone, Hygge has fittingly collaborated with one of Japan's most respected watch designers, Yoshimoto Murakami, to create its latest watch series, KOMA. Yoshimoto found inspiration in the traditional art of Japanese spinning to imagine a design that is symbolic of the fundamentals of quality Japanese watch making that is typically associated with the Hygge brand. The result: . KOMA, both sleek & classic, with bi-colour leather bands in a variety of traditional colour combinations.
Hygge watches Japan has added new fashion colours to the popular Vari model. Earthy browns, bronze and black now complete the range in 2019.
